The Graduate Aptitude in Engineering (GATE) 2025, a national-level examination crucial for aspiring engineers and science graduates, has announced its official examination schedule. The exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, across two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, while the second shift will commence from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Recognizing the need for adjustments, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the application correction window until November 20, 2024. This extension allows candidates to make necessary changes to their application forms before the final submission deadline. To prepare for the GATE 2025 examination, candidates can access a range of online resources, including mock tests, available on the official GATE website. These mock tests provide a valuable opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern, evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, and refine their preparation strategies. The admit cards for the examination will be available for download from January 2, 2025, onwards. Results for GATE 2025 are expected to be declared by March 19, 2025.
GATE 2025 will feature a diverse question format, encompassing three types: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Type (NAT) questions. The examination assesses a candidate's understanding of various engineering and science subjects. Successful candidates are eligible for admission to prestigious postgraduate programs, including Master in Technology (MTech) at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) across India. Eligibility for GATE 2025 requires a candidate to be in the third year or above of any undergraduate engineering or science program. Graduates holding degrees in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Architecture are also eligible to apply.
