The Central Selection Board of Constable Recruitment (CSBC) has declared the results of the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024. Candidates who participated in the exam can access their results on the official CSBC website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. The exam, conducted on various dates in August, was aimed at filling 21,391 constable positions across different divisions of the Bihar Police, including the District Police, Bihar Special Armed Police, and other units within the Constable Cadre.
The results are a category-wise shortlist for the available vacancies. The breakdown includes 42,780 vacancies for the Non-Reserved Category (UR), 10,700 for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 17,000 for the Scheduled Caste (SC), 1,140 for the Scheduled Tribe (ST), 19,210 for the Extremely Backward Class (EBC), 12,850 for the Backward Class (BC), including 56 transgender candidates, and 3,275 for the Backward Class Women (BCW), totaling 106,955 shortlisted candidates.
Those shortlisted will now proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the next stage of the selection process. The CSBC will soon release a separate schedule for the PET, which will be conducted according to their guidelines. Information regarding the date, time, and venue of the PET will be available on the CSBC website, and admit cards for the PET can be downloaded from the same platform. Candidates are obligated to attend the PET on the specified date and time, as failure to do so will result in disqualification.
