The recent controversy surrounding Yati Narsinghanand's inflammatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad has sparked a strong response from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In a stern statement, Adityanath declared that derogatory remarks targeting any religious figure or belief are unacceptable and will be met with strict legal action. He emphasized the importance of respecting all faiths and sects, stating that those who incite hatred or disrespect towards religious figures will be punished.

Narsinghanand, a Ghaziabad-based priest known for his controversial pronouncements, has once again ignited tensions with his latest remarks. An FIR has been filed against him, and while his close associates claim he has been detained in Ghaziabad, the UP police have yet to confirm this information. Several Muslim organizations and political parties, including the BSP, the National Conference, and the Samajwadi Party, have demanded his immediate arrest.

Amidst the escalating tensions, Adityanath has also taken steps to ensure peace and security during the upcoming festive season. He has directed the police administration to maintain a strict vigil, ensuring that all districts and police stations prioritize the safe and joyful celebration of upcoming festivals. He has specifically instructed officials to identify and take decisive action against any individuals or groups seeking to disrupt the peace, emphasizing that any acts of anarchy, vandalism, or arson in the name of protest will not be tolerated.

In addition to addressing the religious tensions, Adityanath has also prioritized women's safety. He has ordered frequent patrols and the availability of police response vehicles in crowded areas, underscoring the government's commitment to protecting citizens during the festive season.
