The National Testing Agency (NTA) is poised to announce the results of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June re-exam in the near future. Following the official announcement, candidates who participated in the re-exam can access and download their scorecards from the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. This process requires the use of their application number and date of birth as login credentials.
The June re-exam for the UGC NET, which serves as a qualifying test for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions, was held in August and September of this year. The decision to conduct a re-examination stemmed from concerns regarding the integrity of the initial exam that took place earlier in June. Those concerns led to the cancellation of the original test just one day after it was administered, sparking a need for the re-evaluation.
The NTA has recently released the final answer keys for all subjects covered in the UGC NET. It's noteworthy that some questions have been excluded from these final answer keys, resulting in full marks being awarded to candidates who attempted those specific questions. This decision aligns with the established rules and procedures of the NTA.
The provisional answer keys for the UGC NET June re-exam were released in stages, with the window for submitting objections closing on September 14. The re-test was conducted solely in computer-based test (CBT) mode, a departure from the previous exam, which was held in a hybrid mode (CBT+ pen and paper).
The national-level UGC NET exam was administered on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, 4, and 5. The exams were held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Candidates eagerly await the official announcement of the results, which will determine their eligibility for various academic opportunities.
