TPCC Chief Welcomes SC Ruling on Group-I Exam
  • TPCC chief welcomes SC's decision
  • Group-I exam to proceed as planned
  • Congress leader assures no injustice

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has expressed its support for the Supreme Court's decision to not stay the Group-I exam conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC). TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, speaking to the media in Nizamabad, lauded the court's decision, emphasizing its alignment with the State government's commitment to providing employment opportunities for the youth. Goud highlighted the High Court's prior support for the State government's stance, underscoring the consistency in judicial rulings. The TPCC leader characterized the Supreme Court's clarification regarding its non-interference with the Group-I candidates' petition at this stage as a positive development.

Goud further emphasized the importance of ensuring fairness for candidates from reserved categories. He assured aspirants that no injustice would be inflicted upon them due to GO 29, a government order potentially affecting reservation policies. He encouraged all candidates to prepare for the exams without any apprehensions and seize the opportunity to secure top jobs after a 13-year gap in recruitment. This prolonged hiatus in recruitment underscores the significance of the current exam for Telangana's workforce.

Goud also criticized the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for utilizing the Group-I issue for political gain. He urged candidates to focus on their future without being swayed by political maneuvering. The TPCC's stance reflects a commitment to addressing the concerns of aspiring candidates, emphasizing the need for a fair and transparent examination process while simultaneously advocating for the State government's efforts to provide employment opportunities.
