The tragic incident took place on Sunday evening at the VV Pride Hotel in Chandanagar, Hyderabad. Uday Kumar, a 24-year-old polytechnic student, was celebrating a friend's birthday on the third floor of the hotel when he encountered a dog in the corridor. CCTV footage captured Kumar playfully chasing the dog down the corridor. As the corridor ended, the dog turned right, and Kumar attempted to follow, but lost his footing and fell through an open window.
The fall resulted in Kumar's death on the spot. His body was taken to Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy. The Chandanagar police have registered a case regarding the incident.
