The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently announced the release of the tentative answer key for the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination. This key serves as a valuable tool for candidates who appeared in the exam, allowing them to verify their responses and get an estimated score. Alongside the answer key, the commission has also made the candidates' response sheets accessible on the official website. To access these resources, candidates must use their registration number and password.
For candidates who are not satisfied with any answer provided in the key, they have the opportunity to challenge it. However, this challenge comes at a cost of Rs. 100 per questioned answer. The window for submitting challenges is open until 6 pm on October 6. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.
Once the commission has thoroughly evaluated all submitted objections, they will release a final answer key for the SSC CGL exam. This final answer key will be used to determine the official scores for all candidates. The Tier 1 exam consists of 100 questions, with each correct answer awarded 2 marks. Conversely, a deduction of 0.50 marks is applied for every incorrect answer.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted between September 9 and September 26, 2024. It's important to note that the answer keys for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams will be released separately. This exam was taken by nearly 20 lakh candidates, aiming to fill 17,727 vacancies in various government departments. The SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 exam was held in multiple shifts as part of the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024.
