A chilling tale of betrayal and murder unfolded in Ghaziabad, India, as the body of a property dealer was discovered in a burning car. Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Nehru Nagar, was found dead on October 22nd, 2023, in a burnt Toyota Fortuner SUV near the village of Nagla Nainsukh. The discovery sent shockwaves through the community and prompted an immediate investigation by police authorities.
The investigation quickly revealed a sinister plot involving Yadav's own friends. Two individuals, Vishal Rajput and Jeet Choudhary, were apprehended by police and confessed to their involvement in the heinous crime. According to police statements, the trio had met on Monday, October 21st, 2023, and engaged in drinking. Yadav, under the influence of alcohol, became an easy target for his friends, who allegedly choked him to death using a dog collar. Following the murder, Rajput and Choudhary looted Yadav's possessions, including cash, jewelry, and valuables.
The motive behind the murder appears to be robbery, as the accused were caught with the stolen goods. After the brutal act, Yadav's body was placed in his car, driven to the deserted location in Nagla Nainsukh, and set ablaze.
