His visit will encompass a range of initiatives, showcasing the government's commitment to various sectors, particularly infrastructure development and agricultural progress. The highlight of the day will be the inauguration of the Aarey JVLR to BKC section of Mumbai Metro Line 3 Phase – 1, a project that promises to revolutionize connectivity within the bustling metropolis.

The inauguration of this crucial section of the Mumbai Metro will undoubtedly be a pivotal moment. This section, boasting ten stations, nine of which are underground, is poised to transform travel within the city. It is expected to significantly reduce travel time and congestion, providing much-needed relief to commuters. The fully operational line-3 is projected to cater to an impressive 12 lakh passengers daily, underscoring its importance in addressing the transportation needs of a rapidly growing city.

Beyond the inauguration of the Metro section, Modi's visit will also encompass a series of initiatives aimed at boosting the agricultural sector. These initiatives, worth an impressive ₹23,300 crore, are set to have a profound impact on the livelihoods of farmers and the overall agricultural landscape of Maharashtra. Among the key initiatives is the disbursement of the 18th instalment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, amounting to ₹20,000 crore, which will benefit approximately 9.4 crore farmers. This financial assistance is crucial for empowering farmers and bolstering agricultural practices.

The Prime Minister's visit will also see the dedication of five solar parks with a total capacity of 19 MW across Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana – 2.0. These solar parks represent a significant step towards promoting renewable energy and sustainable agricultural practices. The initiative aligns with the government's broader goal of fostering a green and self-reliant India. The visit will also feature recognition of beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, which aims to empower and uplift the lives of young girls in the state.

In addition to the focus on agriculture, Modi's visit will also include the laying of the foundation stone for various development projects in Thane, highlighting the government's commitment to infrastructure development across the state. These projects, estimated to cost over ₹32,800 crore, will create new opportunities for economic growth and job creation in the region. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project, an ambitious undertaking aimed at improving connectivity within the city and its surrounding areas.

He will also lay the foundation stone for the Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension, a project that will significantly enhance road infrastructure and facilitate smoother traffic flow. The Thane Municipal Corporation, another crucial infrastructure project, will also see its foundation stone laid during the Prime Minister's visit.
