KTR's relative's farmhouse raided, drugs found
  • Raid on KTR's relative's farmhouse.
  • Drugs found, violations under NDPS act.
  • BRS party faces allegations of nexus.

The article details a raid conducted by the Cyberabad Special Operation Team (SOT) at a farmhouse owned by Raj Pakala, the brother-in-law of KTR, a prominent figure in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party. The raid, prompted by a tip-off, revealed a party held at the farmhouse without necessary permissions, resulting in the discovery of several violations under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The investigation unveiled excessive storage of foreign alcohol and the presence of more than 30 individuals at the party, including one who tested positive for cocaine.

The Cyberabad Police took swift action by registering cases against Raj Pakala for contravening excise norms and maintaining an excessive amount of alcohol. The organizers, who had served liquor without obtaining a license from the public excise department, faced legal consequences. Authorities confiscated seven unauthorized bottles of foreign liquor, totaling 10.5 liters, along with 10 bottles of Indian-made liquor. Further violations are being investigated by excise officials, who are likely to file additional cases.

The allegations surrounding the party extend beyond the immediate participants, as rumors suggest the involvement of high-profile individuals, though their identities remain undisclosed. The incident sparked controversy, particularly from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), whose leaders, including Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Raghunandan Rao, voiced strong criticism of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The BJP accused the TRS of shielding the KCR family, alleging a nexus between the TRS and the Congress party. They demanded a transparent investigation and the release of CCTV footage from the farmhouse. However, KTR and the BRS party have remained silent on the matter.
