The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to showcase its aerial prowess in Chennai with an air show scheduled for October 6th. This spectacular event will mark the 92nd IAF Day celebrations and will feature a breathtaking display of the IAF's latest aircraft. However, the air show will also bring about temporary closures at Chennai International Airport, affecting flight schedules between October 1st and 8th.

To ensure minimal disruption to passengers, the airport authorities have released a detailed schedule of the closures, which will range from 15 minutes to two hours at various intervals. The first closure is scheduled for October 1st from 13:45 to 15:15 hours, with subsequent closures planned for October 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. Airport Director CV Deepak emphasized the importance of passengers staying updated on flight schedules and communicating with their airlines for the latest information.

Chennai International Airport is working closely with the IAF to ensure a smooth travel experience for passengers during this special event.
