Yadav's arrest stems from a complaint filed by a Delhi businessman who alleged that Yadav, under the guise of a senior government official, lured him to a meeting and then kidnapped him, demanding a ransom. The businessman, who reportedly had contacts in West Asia, was allegedly targeted by Yadav because of his association with a rival gang, the Lawrence Bishnoi group.
