The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against Sanjoy Roy, a former contractual employee of Kolkata Police, accusing him of the rape and murder of a doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The chargesheet will be presented to a special court in Sealdah. According to officials, the alleged crime occurred while the doctor was taking a break and resting in the hospital's seminar room. Roy, who was known to frequent the hospital, was apprehended a day after the doctor's body was discovered on August 9th.
