The investigation into the building collapse has resulted in the arrest of Bhuvan, the son of the building owner, Muniraja Reddy. Bhuvan, a resident of Malleshwaram, is being questioned by the police to gather information about the construction and the potential factors that contributed to the collapse. The police have also detained a contractor identified as Muniyappa, who was responsible for constructing four floors of the building.
