UGC NET Answer Keys Released: Challenges Allowed

UGC NET Answer Keys Released: Challenges Allowed
  • NTA releases provisional UGC NET answer keys
  • Candidates can challenge keys for a fee
  • Final results based on revised answer keys

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the UGC NET exams held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2024. This marks a significant step towards the announcement of the final results for candidates who aspire to become lecturers and assistant professors in Indian universities. The release of the provisional answer keys provides an opportunity for candidates to verify the correctness of the answers provided by the NTA and to challenge any discrepancies they may find.

Candidates who are dissatisfied with the provisional answer keys can challenge them by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. This challenge process is crucial as it allows candidates to raise their concerns regarding any potential errors in the answer key. The NTA will then review these challenges through a panel of subject experts. If any of the challenges are upheld, the answer keys will be revised accordingly. This ensures fairness and accuracy in the evaluation process.

The UGC NET 2024 exam was held from August 21 to September 4, 2024, in a computer-based format (CBT). The final results will be compiled and announced based on the final revised answer keys. Candidates will not be individually notified about the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The NTA will provide updates on the status of the answer keys and the subsequent results through its official website and other communication channels. Aspiring educators are advised to keep a close eye on these updates to stay informed about their performance in the UGC NET 2024 exams.
