Musheer Khan's Century Ends with a Rooftop Six
  • Musheer Khan scored a century in the Duleep Trophy.
  • His innings ended with a massive six hitting the roof.
  • India B lost momentum after Khan's dismissal.

The Duleep Trophy, a prestigious domestic tournament in India, witnessed a remarkable performance by young batsman Musheer Khan. Representing India B, Khan anchored his team's first innings against India A at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. With a masterful display of timing and confidence, he compiled a magnificent century, scoring 181 runs off 373 balls. His innings included 16 boundaries and 5 sixes, one of which was particularly memorable.

The highlight of Khan's innings was a gigantic six that landed on the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium. In the 111th over, he smashed Kuldeep Yadav's lofted delivery over long-on, the ball soaring high in the air before finding its mark on the stadium's roof. This incredible shot exemplified Khan's power and ability to clear the boundary with ease. However, in the very next delivery, Kuldeep Yadav bounced back to dismiss Khan, ending his 484-minute stay at the crease. Khan's departure marked the end of a stunning 205-run partnership with Navdeep Saini, the highest for the eighth wicket in Duleep Trophy history.

Despite Khan's heroics, India B's innings folded quickly after his dismissal. Akash Deep, the pacer for India A, returned to claim four wickets for 60 runs, dismantling the India B batting lineup. In response, India A's batting order also faltered, but KL Rahul and Riyan Parag managed to hold the fort at stumps, leaving their team trailing by 187 runs. The match continues with India A looking to bounce back and secure a victory in the second innings.
