Moving beyond his son's situation, Moin voiced his support for Shaheen Afridi to be appointed as Pakistan's white-ball captain. Afridi, who has led Lahore Qalandars to two PSL titles, previously took over the T20I captaincy but was later replaced by Babar Azam. Moin believes Afridi's leadership qualities and popularity among his teammates make him an ideal candidate for the role.
