In a fiery address to a rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda and Udhampur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress, National Conference (NC), and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accusing them of systematically destroying the state for decades. Moving beyond Jammu and Kashmir, Modi addressed a rally in Kurukshetra, Haryana, focusing on the state's development and welfare initiatives undertaken by the BJP government. He highlighted schemes such as affordable housing, universal healthcare for senior citizens, and Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers. Modi accused the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of failing to deliver on their promises in the states they govern, contrasting their record with the BJP's track record of fulfilling commitments.
The prime minister's speeches reflected his strategy for the upcoming elections. He sought to consolidate his party's position by highlighting its commitment to development, national security, and good governance. His attacks on his political rivals aimed to undermine their credibility and mobilize voters against them.
