Kerala ADGP Accused of Owning Land Near Kowdiar Palace
  • MLA Anvar alleges ADGP Ajith Kumar owns land near Kowdiar Palace
  • The land is valued at Rs 60-70 lakh per cent, Anvar claims
  • Anvar accuses Ajith Kumar of corruption despite claims of simplicity

The ongoing political drama in Kerala continues to escalate, with MLA P V Anvar's latest allegations against Law and Order ADGP M R Ajith Kumar taking center stage. Anvar has accused Ajith Kumar of owning land near the Kowdiar Palace in Thiruvananthapuram, a prime location valued at a staggering Rs 60-70 lakh per cent. This revelation has ignited further controversy surrounding the ADGP and his alleged involvement in corrupt practices.

Anvar's claims extend beyond just land ownership. He alleges that Ajith Kumar possesses 10 cents of land near the palace, bordering the private helipad of prominent businessman M A Yusuff Ali. Adding to the accusations, Anvar states that 12 additional cents of land are registered in the name of Ajith Kumar's brother-in-law, with ongoing construction of a house on the plot. Anvar's assertion that the house spans 12,000 to 15,000 sq feet further fuels speculation about the ADGP's financial resources and potential conflicts of interest.

Anvar's accusations paint a stark contrast to the perceived image of Ajith Kumar. He portrays the ADGP as a man of “simplicity,” highlighting his alleged preference for “hawai chappals” and denial of bribes. The juxtaposition of these traits with the alleged land ownership presents a perplexing contradiction, inviting further scrutiny of Ajith Kumar's personal and professional conduct. This scandal has undoubtedly cast a shadow on the ADGP's credibility and fueled public skepticism about his ability to effectively enforce law and order in the state.
