The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain in the Delhi-NCR region, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until September 27th. According to IMD scientist Dr. Naresh, the rainfall is due to winds from the Bay of Bengal sweeping towards the region. The rain is expected to begin this evening and continue into tomorrow and the day after, with a return to pleasant weather conditions predicted after that.
Dr. Naresh has stated that the rainfall activity will end after the next few days, with pleasant weather expected to follow. While the Delhi-NCR region is predicted to receive light rain, Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience light to moderate showers, while Uttarakhand may experience isolated heavy rainfall.
The IMD has highlighted the likelihood of light to moderate rainfall in Himachal Pradesh over the next one or two days, while Uttarakhand may see short-term but heavy rain showers. This forecast suggests a continued focus on monitoring weather conditions and potential impacts in these regions.
