A brazen act of violence unfolded in the heart of Delhi, leaving a trail of destruction and fear. The 'Car Street Mini' showroom, a luxury car dealership in the Naraina area, was targeted by a gang of armed assailants, who stormed the premises, firing indiscriminately and threatening employees. This incident, captured on chilling CCTV footage, showcased the audacity and disregard for law exhibited by these criminals.
The CCTV footage revealed a scene of sheer terror. Two men, dressed in black, brandished firearms, firing shots at the luxury vehicles parked within the showroom. A third man, clad in a yellow t-shirt, assumed the role of a menacing enforcer, wielding his finger and uttering threats like "bachega nahin" (won't be saved). The victims, two employees, could only cower in fear as the perpetrators unleashed their violence.
The attackers left their signature, a slip of paper bearing the words "Bhau Gang, Since 2020," a clear indication of their affiliation. This reference points to the infamous Himanshu Bhau, a wanted gangster who fled the country in 2022 and is currently believed to be residing in Portugal. Sources revealed that the gang had demanded a hefty sum of Rs 5 crore from the showroom owners, highlighting the motive of extortion driving this attack.
This incident marks the second such shooting targeting car showrooms in the city. In May, a similar attack was carried out at a showroom in Tilak Nagar, with suspicions pointing to the same gang. The authorities, however, are working diligently to apprehend the perpetrators, having identified the three shooters involved in the recent incident. A case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is underway, aiming to dismantle the gang's operations and ensure justice for the victims.
