On Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders across the Rayalaseema districts in India celebrated the 74th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by participating in special blood donation camps. In Anantapur, a bustling city known for its historic significance, the blood donation drive was spearheaded by parliamentary constituency in-charge G.N.S. Lalith Kumar and district president Sandireddy Srinivasulu. Meanwhile, in Tirupati, a city revered for its religious significance, the birthday celebrations took the form of a 'Seva Pakhwada,' a fortnight dedicated to service. The blood donation camp, held at the Government Maternity Hospital, was inaugurated by S. Suresh Reddy, the national vice-president of the BJP Kisan Morcha. The initiative resulted in the collection of 32 units of blood, a significant contribution towards saving lives.
Penubala Chandrasekhar, the district general secretary and Pakhwada coordinator, actively participated in the drive, emphasizing the importance of blood donation as a selfless act that can make a profound difference in the lives of others. District vice-president Prasanthi Raju, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district secretary Kishan Reddy, and Kisan Morcha district secretary Mohan Babu also joined the initiative, reflecting the widespread support for the event within the party ranks.
