In a fiery election rally in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared the BJP's unwavering commitment to the development and prosperity of the region. He stated that the region had witnessed a surge in tourist arrivals exceeding those during the NC's tenure, indicating a positive change in the security environment and the overall appeal of the region. He also underscored the BJP's dedication to developing tourism infrastructure and untapped potential areas like Surankote.
Shah further emphasized the BJP's commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, assuring them of continued support and development initiatives. He emphasized the party's unwavering commitment to the reservation system and strongly condemned the NC's attempts to undermine it. Shah reiterated the BJP's stance on the Pahari community's ST status, assuring the Gujjar community that their reservation rights would be protected.
In a bid to galvanize support for the BJP candidate, former minister Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Bukhari, Shah highlighted his long-standing commitment to the Pahari community and praised Bukhari's dedication to serving the people. He urged the voters to elect Bukhari as their representative, assuring them of his commitment to representing their interests and working tirelessly for their welfare.
