Bangladeshi Adult Actor Arrested For Fake Passport
  • Bangladeshi adult film actress arrested in India.
  • Riya Barde used fake Indian passport to reside.
  • Police launched investigation after tip-off.

The recent arrest of Bangladeshi adult film actress Riya Barde, also known as Arohi Barde, has brought to light the issue of illegal immigration and the use of forged documents in India. Barde was apprehended by the Hill Line Police in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, for allegedly using a fake Indian passport to live in the country. The arrest came after police received a tip-off that a Bangladeshi family was residing in Ambernath, using fraudulent documents.

An investigation revealed that Barde and three of her associates had obtained forged documents, facilitated by an Amravati resident. The police registered a case against Barde and the four others under Section 14(A) of the Foreigners Act, 1946, as well as the Indian Penal Code. The case highlights the vulnerability of India's immigration system and the ease with which individuals can exploit loopholes to gain illegal entry and residence. The authorities are actively seeking the four other individuals involved in the case.

This incident mirrors a similar case earlier this year, where a 23-year-old woman named Nagma Noor Maksood Ali, also known as Sanam Khan, was arrested for travelling to Pakistan using a fake passport and visa. She had acquired various identity documents, including an Aadhaar card and PAN card, which she had submitted with her passport application. The authorities are investigating the role of an unidentified man who facilitated the acquisition of these fake documents. These incidents raise concerns about the security measures in place for verifying identity documents and the potential for exploitation by individuals seeking to circumvent immigration laws.

The cases involving Riya Barde and Nagma Noor Maksood Ali highlight the need for stricter measures to prevent the use of forged documents for illegal immigration. This includes strengthening verification procedures, improving data sharing between agencies, and increasing awareness among the public. The authorities must also focus on cracking down on the networks that facilitate the creation and distribution of fake documents. Effective enforcement of these measures is crucial to ensure the integrity of India's immigration system and prevent the exploitation of loopholes by individuals seeking to enter the country illegally.
