The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in Tripura has announced the commencement of registration for the counselling process for Round 1 of the Tripura State NEET UG 2024. The registration period will begin today, August 19, 2024, at 10 AM and continue until August 20, 2024, up to 11:59 PM. This opportunity extends to both state domicile candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG and All India candidates who are not domiciles of Tripura.
Candidates interested in participating in the counselling process can register online by visiting the official website of the DME, dmeonline.tripura.gov.in. The detailed schedule for the counselling process has been outlined by the DME, encompassing key milestones such as registration, payment, merit list publication, choice filling, seat allotment, and physical verification of documents.
The schedule for Round 1 of the Tripura State NEET UG 2024 counselling process is as follows: Registration by candidates will be open from August 19 (10 AM onwards) to August 20 (up to 11:59 PM). Candidates can make payments for the counselling process from August 19 (10 AM onwards) to August 21 (up to 3 AM). The merit list will be published on August 23, 2024. Candidates can fill their choices for preferred courses and institutions from August 23 (3 PM onwards) to August 27 (up to 12 noon). The seat allotment results will be announced on August 29, 2024. Candidates allotted seats must collect their nomination from the DME office on August 30 and August 31. Finally, physical verification of original documents, admission formalities, and admission to the allotted institutions will be conducted from August 30 to September 5, up to 5 PM.
The DME has issued an official notification inviting all eligible candidates to participate in this counselling round. This counselling process is for selecting candidates for admission to various undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP, offered by participating medical colleges and institutions in Tripura.
