The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in Tripura has announced the commencement of registration for the first round of counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) 2024. The registration process will begin on August 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, providing an opportunity for eligible candidates to secure their place in various medical courses.
Both state domicile candidates who have qualified the NEET UG exam and All India candidates who are not Tripura domiciles are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates can register online by visiting the official website of the DME, dmeonline.tripura.gov.in. The registration window will remain open until August 20, 2024, up to 11:59 PM.
The counselling process for Round 1 of Tripura State NEET UG 2024 is meticulously structured with a well-defined schedule to ensure a smooth and transparent selection procedure. The key dates and activities are as follows:
August 19, 2024 (10 AM onwards) to August 20, 2024 (up to 11:59 PM): Registration by candidates.
August 19, 2024 (10 AM onwards) to August 21, 2024 (up to 3 AM): Payment by candidates.
August 23, 2024: Publication of the Merit List.
August 23, 2024 (3 PM onwards) to August 27, 2024 (up to 12 noon): Choice Filling by candidates.
August 29, 2024: Announcement of the Seat Allotment Result.
August 30 & August 31, 2024: Nomination to be collected from the DME office by candidates who have been allotted a seat.
Following the seat allotment, the physical verification of original documents and other admission formalities will be carried out from August 30, 2024, to September 5, 2024, up to 5 PM. The admitted students will then be able to join the allotted institutions.
The Government of Tripura, through the Directorate of Medical Education, has issued an official notification inviting all eligible NEET UG 2024 state domicile candidates and All India candidates other than Tripura domicile to participate in Round 1 of the counselling process. The counselling will determine the selection of candidates for admission to various medical courses, including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP. The counselling process will commence on August 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
