Will Thackeray Switch to NDA in 15 Days?
  • Uddhav Thackeray may switch to NDA within 15 days of election results.
  • Exit polls predict Uddhav Sena as second largest party in Maharashtra.
  • Uddhav Sena leader Anand Dubey dismisses claims as 'daydreaming'.

Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena, may switch his allegiance to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) within 15 days of the election results, according to a claim made by Maharashtra leader Ravi Rana.

Rana, the husband of BJP Lok Sabha candidate Navneet Rana, said he is confident that Thackeray will be back with the NDA as soon as Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister again.

The claim has created a buzz in Maharashtra politics, especially since exit polls have indicated a good result for the Uddhav Sena in the first election after the Shiv Sena was split.

However, Uddhav Sena leader Anand Dubey has dismissed the claim as "daydreaming", saying that the results are yet to come and no one knows who will win or lose.

Dubey also criticized the Ranas, saying that they have been speaking against the Shiv Sena since the beginning and do not have the stature to comment on Thackeray or Modi.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Thackeray's Shiv Sena emerged as a major player, forming a government with the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) despite ideological differences.

According to exit poll predictions, Uddhav's Sena can become the second-largest party in Maharashtra with 9-14 seats.

Some exit polls have predicted a close fight between the NDA and the INDIA bloc in Maharashtra, and Uddhav's support could be crucial for a decisive win.

It remains to be seen whether Thackeray will actually switch to the NDA, but the claim has certainly added to the intrigue surrounding the upcoming election results.
