The incident took place in Saida village, located near the International Border, where terrorists opened fire, resulting in injuries to one individual.

Security forces promptly launched a joint operation, leading to the neutralization of one terrorist.

This attack follows a previous incident on Sunday, wherein nine people were killed and 33 injured in an attack on a bus carrying pilgrims.

The bus was en route to the Shiv Khori cave temple when it was targeted by terrorists, who reportedly acted under the direction of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Abu Hamza.

These attacks have raised concerns among security forces and authorities, as they have occurred in areas previously considered safe from terrorism.

Intelligence reports had indicated that Jammu was a potential target for terrorist activity, leading to heightened vigilance in the region.
