A massive fire broke out at Kolkata's Acropolis Mall on Friday, leading to the entrapment of several individuals. Upon receiving an alert about the incident, the fire department promptly dispatched at least ten fire tenders to extinguish the blaze.
Fire department officials were also involved in evacuating people from offices located within the mall. The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined, and various videos captured people hurriedly exiting the mall after the fire erupted.
This incident marks the second such occurrence in the city within a short span of time, following a substantial fire that engulfed a restaurant in Kolkata's Park Street area on Tuesday.
