The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced the Tamil Nadu Class 12 result on May 6. The TN HSC plus 2 result 2024 can be checked at dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.
Of the 7,60,606 students appearing the TN HSE +2 exam this year, as many as 4,86,961 students appeared in science. The total number of students taking the TN +2 HSE in arts and vocational was 11,585 and 33,256 respectively.
As many as 4,69,177 passed from the science stream and 9,925 students passed the TS plus 2 exam in arts and 28,549 in vocational. The overall pass percentage this year in TN HSE +2 exam is 94.56%.
The TN HSC plus 2 exams were held from March 1 to 22 and were set in such a way that a three to five days interval was provided before the main subjects, giving students ample time to prepare.
Around 8.51 lakh students appeared in the TNDGE HSE exams in science, arts and commerce last year from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The Class 12 TN HSE result pass percentage last year stood at 94.03 per cent and in 2022, it was 93.80 per cent.
The TN SSLC Class 10 result will be announced on May 10. The TN SSLC examination was conducted from March 26 to April 8 and the TN SSLC practical exams were held from February 26 to 28.
