The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) is set to announce the much-awaited TN 10th Result 2024 today. The results will be declared at 9:30 AM, and students who appeared for the exams can check their scores on the official websites - dge.tn.nic.in or tnresults.nic.in.
Nearly 9 lakh candidates appeared for the TN Class 10 board examination that was held between March 26th to April 8th, 2024, in a pen-paper mode. Students will be able to access their results using the roll number and date of birth mentioned on their TN hall tickets.
Last year, the overall pass percentage for the TN SSLC exams stood at 91.39%, showing an improvement from the previous year's 90.07%. However, a total of 23,971 students failed in the TN Class 10th general examination.
The TNDGE board exam for Class 10 was conducted at over 3,986 examination centers across the state. Students can check their scorecards at dge.tn.gov.in.
In addition to the online result, students can also collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools a few days after the result declaration.
It's important to note that the online result is provisional, and the board has informed students to treat it as such.
Once the TNDGE result is declared, information about the supplementary exams will be announced. For a student to pass the Tamil Nadu SSLC board exams 2023, a candidate must score at least 35 marks in each subject.
Earlier, TN SSLC results were also available via SMS by messaging on 09282232585 or 09282232585. However, it's unclear if this option will be available for the 2024 results.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu education board also recently announced the Class 12 HSE results, in which about 94.56% of students passed the +2 exams, with Thirupur remaining the top-performing district with 97.45%, followed by Sivagangai, Erode, Ariyalur, and Coimbatore.
