After Prajwal Revanna, the prime accused in a sex video case, released a video announcing his return to India, the Karnataka Home Minister, Dr G Parameshwara, stated that the decision to arrest him upon his arrival would be made by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

In response to questions about Prajwal Revanna's arrest, the Home Minister asserted that the SIT would determine the course of action once he lands at an Indian airport. He emphasized that the process must be followed and that Revanna's video release did not warrant immediate arrest.

The Home Minister clarified that there had been no delay in Prajwal Revanna's arrest. He explained that necessary steps had been taken, including issuing warrants, communicating with the Ministry of External Affairs, and publishing a Blue Corner notice. He also noted that if Revanna failed to return, his location would be ascertained, and Interpol would intervene.

Regarding Revanna's claims of a political conspiracy and his alleged depression, the Home Minister stated that the SIT would investigate these allegations. He emphasized that the truth must be uncovered.
