The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha announced the Class 10th board exam results today, May 26th, 2024. The results are available on the official website – bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in.
This year, the overall pass percentage is 96.07%, with girls outperforming boys. The pass percentage for girls is 96.73%, while that for boys is 93%. A total of 2,644 schools have achieved 100% results.
The BSE Odisha Class 10 exam was conducted in 2,991 examination centers across the state from February 20th to March 4th. A total of 5,41,061 students appeared for the exam, out of which 5,30,153 passed.
Cuttack district secured the highest pass percentage of 97.58%, while Rayagada district recorded the lowest pass percentage of 96.16%.
For the first time, BSE Odisha will provide digital certificates for all exams, including AHSC, Madhyama, and SOSC, via WhatsApp. To obtain the certificate, students can send a WhatsApp message to 7710058192 with the text "BSE / Hi" and follow the instructions.
Students who wish to apply for the revaluation of marks can do so online from May 29th to June 12th. Similarly, applications for supplementary exams and SOSC (second) exam can be submitted online from June 10th.
The Odisha School and Mass Education Department had set a target of 100% pass percentage for Class 10 board exams 2024 and at least 5% of students in each school securing an A1 grade.
