  • Congress predicted to win less than 50 seats in upcoming elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing them of failing to act against Pakistan after the 26/11 attacks due to fears of losing their vote bank.

Modi made the remarks while addressing a rally in Odisha's Kandhamal, further stating that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have suffered for decades because of the Congress' "weak mindset".

The Prime Minister also criticized Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar's recent remark that India should respect Pakistan because it has an atomic bomb, saying that the grand old party tries to instill fear in their own countrymen.

Modi asserted that India will never forget the times when the country used to suffer frequent terrorist attacks and the Congress leaders would sit with the perpetrators of terrorism.

He added that Congress will be "limited below 50 seats" in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, while the NDA will cross 400 seats.
