The results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations in Kerala for the year 2024 have been announced, with an impressive pass percentage of 99.69%. Out of the 4,27,153 students who appeared for the exam, 4,25,563 have qualified for higher education.

The highest pass percentage among revenue districts was recorded by Kottayam with 99.92%, while Thiruvananthapuram had the lowest pass percentage of 99.08%. The educational district with the highest pass percentage was Pala, which scored a perfect 100%. The highest number of students who scored A+ for all papers was in the Malappuram educational district, with 4,964 students achieving this distinction.

In the Technical High School Leaving Certificate (THSLC) exam, the pass percentage was 99.8%, with 2,938 out of 2,944 candidates becoming eligible for higher education. A total of 534 students got A+ grade in all subjects under the THSLC exam.

This year's SSLC exams began on March 4 and were held at 2,970 exam centers, including 2,954 in Kerala, seven in the Gulf region, and nine in Lakshadweep. Answer sheet evaluations were held between April 3 and April 20 at 70 locations across Kerala.

A total of 892 government schools, 1,139 aided schools, and 443 un-aided schools achieved 100% pass in this year's SSLC exams.

Applications for revaluation, photocopy, and scrutiny of answer sheets can be submitted from May 9 to 15. The supplementary exam (SAY) will be conducted from May 28 to June 6, and the exam result will be announced in the second week of June.

In addition to the SSLC results, the results of the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations (Plus Two) will be disclosed on May 9.

For the Higher Secondary exam, a total of 4,41,120 students participated, including 2,23,736 boys and 2,17,384 girls. Answer sheet evaluations took place from April 3 to April 24, with approximately twenty-five thousand teachers engaged in the Plus One and Plus Two exam evaluations at 77 camps statewide.

For the Vocational Higher Secondary regular category, 27,798 students registered for the second-year examination, while 1,502 students enrolled under the private category.
