Kejriwal's Aide Spotted with CM After 'Misbehaving' Incident

  • BJP alleges Kejriwal protecting Kumar, demands action.

Bibhav Kumar, a personal assistant to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, was recently seen accompanying the CM at Lucknow airport, days after being accused of 'misbehaving' with AAP MP Swati Maliwal.

Sanjay Singh, another AAP Rajya Sabha MP, was also present. The incident has sparked controversy, with the BJP alleging that Kejriwal is protecting Kumar and demanding action against him.

On Tuesday, Singh had stated at a press conference that Kumar had 'misbehaved' with Maliwal at Kejriwal's official residence and that the CM would take strict action.

This statement came after Maliwal had made a police call from the CM's residence and visited the Civil Lines police station. On Wednesday, Singh met with Maliwal, while the BJP continued to criticize Kejriwal and demand action against the guilty.

AAP leaders have declined to provide details about the meeting between Singh and Maliwal, who has remained incommunicado. The meeting is seen as an attempt to pacify Maliwal, who has been with the AAP since its inception.

Meanwhile, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has slammed Kejriwal and shared a picture of Kumar with the CM on social media, alleging that the attack on Maliwal was carried out at Kejriwal's behest and that Maliwal is being pressured to remain silent or change her story.

Poonawalla has further accused AAP of being an 'anti-women anarchist party.' The controversy has raised questions about the safety and well-being of women within the AAP and the accountability of party leaders in addressing allegations of misconduct.
