Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently out on bail to campaign for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, responded sharply to a Pakistani leader who shared his post on social networking platform 'X'. Kejriwal, who voted in the national capital along with his family, had posted a photograph on X after casting his vote.

Pakistan Minister Fawad Hussain, quoting Kejriwal's post, expressed hope for peace and harmony to defeat forces of hate and extremism. However, Kejriwal countered by stating that Pakistan should focus on its own internal issues rather than interfering in India's matters.

Kejriwal emphasized that India is fully capable of handling its own issues and will not tolerate interference by the biggest sponsors of terrorism. He also took a dig at Pakistan's current state, implying that it should prioritize addressing its own challenges.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju commented on the situation, stating that Arvind Kejriwal has 'massive support' in Pakistan, drawing parallels to Rahul Gandhi's perceived support in the neighboring country.

Meanwhile, voting is taking place today in several states across India, including Bihar, Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. The counting of votes will be held on June 4 after the last phase of the election ends on June 1.
