The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Points Table has been updated after the conclusion of the league stage, with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) finishing in second place after defeating Punjab Kings on Sunday.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) slipped to third place after their match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) was washed out.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured the fourth and final playoff spot with a 27-run victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
SRH finished with eight wins and five losses, while RR and RCB both had seven wins and seven losses.
However, SRH's superior Net Run Rate (NRR) of 0.414 placed them ahead of RR, whose NRR was 0.273.
KKR finished top of the table with nine wins and three losses, while CSK and Delhi Capitals (DC) both finished with seven wins and seven losses.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ended their season in sixth place with seven wins and seven losses, while Mumbai Indians (MI) finished bottom of the table with four wins and ten losses.
The top four teams in the IPL 2024 Points Table will qualify for the playoffs.
KKR, SRH, RR, and RCB have all secured their places in the playoffs, with the remaining two spots still up for grabs.
The Eliminator, Qualifier 1, and Qualifier 2 will be played before the final on May 26.
