India's journey towards the T20 World Cup has commenced with the first batch of players arriving in the United States. Meanwhile, senior batter Virat Kohli is yet to join the team due to a scheduled visa appointment. The BCCI has reportedly arranged for his travel to the USA on May 30th, which may result in him missing India's warm-up match against Bangladesh.

The Men in Blue will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on June 5th against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. They will then face their arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9th, followed by matches against tournament co-hosts USA and Canada.
