Graffiti Threatening Arvind Kejriwal Surfaces in Delhi Metro

Graffiti threatening Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reportedly surfaced inside two metro stations in the national capital - Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar - on Sunday, prompting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to allege that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP were planning an attack on him.

The AAP, in a strongly worded statement, accused the BJP of being in a state of panic ever since Kejriwal came out of jail earlier this month. The party's spokesperson, Sanjay Singh, claimed that the alleged conspiracy to attack Kejriwal was hatched inside the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and that the BJP was now plotting to launch a deadly attack on him.

The AAP also released images of the graffiti, which reportedly read: 'Kill Kejriwal'. The party claimed that the messages were written on the walls of three metro stations - Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, and Patel Nagar - and that they were under CCTV surveillance and security personnel were posted round-the-clock.

The AAP's claims were met with swift denials from the BJP, which accused the AAP of trying to create a false narrative and gain political mileage. The BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra, said that the graffiti was the handiwork of the AAP itself and that the party was trying to portray Kejriwal as a victim.

The Delhi Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. They have also increased security around Kejriwal's residence and office.

The incident has sparked a political storm in Delhi, with the AAP and the BJP trading barbs over the issue. The AAP has demanded that the BJP leaders responsible for the alleged conspiracy be arrested and that the Prime Minister himself should come out and condemn the incident.

The BJP, on the other hand, has dismissed the AAP's allegations as baseless and has accused the party of trying to divert attention from its own failures. The party has also demanded that the AAP provide evidence to support its claims.

The incident comes at a time when political tensions are running high in Delhi, with the Lok Sabha elections just a few weeks away. The AAP is hoping to make a strong showing in the elections, while the BJP is looking to retain its dominance in the national capital.
