DJ Shot Dead at Bar After Alcohol Refusal

A man in Ranchi, Jharkhand shot and killed a disc jockey (DJ) late last night at a bar after employees refused to serve him alcohol.

The incident occurred around 1 am when the accused and four others arrived at the Extreme Bar and demanded alcohol, despite the bar being closed.

Upon being refused, a heated argument ensued between the group and the bar staff, during which one of the accused retrieved a rifle and fatally shot the DJ in the chest at point-blank range.

The accused and his accomplices fled the scene, while the injured DJ was rushed to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), where he was pronounced dead.

The Ranchi Deputy Superintendent of Police and local police station in-charge visited the crime spot this morning, and police are currently examining CCTV footage to identify the shooter and his accomplices.

The bar employees are also being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.

This tragic incident highlights the dangers of alcohol-related violence and the need for responsible alcohol consumption and service practices.
