  • CBSE 12th Result 2024 Declared
  • 87.98% Students Pass, Girls Outshine Boys
  • Over 24,000 Score Above 95%

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for its class 12 board examinations held earlier this year. The overall pass percentage for the exams stands at 87.98%, which is a marginal increase from the previous year.

Girls have outperformed boys in the exams, with a pass percentage of over 91%. This is a significant improvement from last year, when the pass percentage for girls was around 87%. Over 24,000 candidates have scored above 95% in the exams, and over 1.16 lakh have scored above 90%.

The results mark the culmination of the academic year for the students who sat for the exams. They can now access their results through the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in. The results can also be viewed directly through DigiLocker, providing a convenient option for students to obtain their marksheets digitally.

In the event of high traffic leading to website downtimes, students can alternatively check their results on the UMANG app, ensuring that everyone has immediate access to their performance metrics. Students can navigate to the official CBSE results website: results.cbse.nic.in to access their results.

On the results page, students will need to enter their roll number and other required details into the provided fields. After submitting their details, their provisional marksheet will be displayed on the screen. Students can download and save a copy of this marksheet for their records.

The marksheet available online is provisional, and the final official marksheets will be made available through schools and can also be accessed on DigiLocker. Schools have already been sent the necessary security pins and passkeys for this purpose.

This year, the CBSE conducted the Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. To pass the CBSE 12th exams, students are required to score at least 33 percent in both their internals and externals.

Students who do not meet this criterion will not be eligible to appear for the compartment exam. As students across the country check their results, the release of these scores opens the door to the next stage of their educational and professional journeys.
