CBSE Class 10th Result 2024 Declared
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the class 10 results for 2024. The results are now available on the official website of the board – cbse.gov.in.
Students can check their results by entering their registration number or roll number and password in the login window.
The board has advised students that the online scorecard is provisional.
How to Check CBSE Class 10th Result 2024
Students can check their CBSE Class 10th result 2024 by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of the CBSE – cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the link ‘Class 10th Result 2024’.
- Enter your registration number or roll number and password in the login window.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Your result will be displayed on the screen.
Last Year’s CBSE Class 10th Result
Last year, the CBSE Class 10th result was declared on May 12, for the exams which were conducted between February 14 to March 21.
The overall pass percentage was 93.12 per cent.
Trivandrum had come up as the best performing region at 99.91 per cent, followed by Bengaluru at 99.18 per cent, Chennai at 99.14 per cent, Ajmer at 97.27 per cent and Pune at 96.92 per cent.
Future Plans of the CBSE
From next year onwards, the Board is proposing a pilot run of open-book tests in a few schools for English, mathematics and science for Classes 9 and 10 and English, mathematics and biology for Classes 11 and 12 later this year to evaluate time taken by students to complete such tests and stakeholders’ response.
